Mental health evaluators are crucial in providing evidence in immigration court. Yet, limited access, affordability, and procedural barriers are impediments, disproportionately impacting low-income clients. Interdisciplinary collaboration between legal and mental health professionals remains underdeveloped. This study provides suggestions for addressing barriers and strengthening interprofessional relationships for immigrant advocacy.
