This proposal explores best practices for establishing and mobilizing steering committees in community-engaged research (CEnR) to emphasize diversity, equity, inclusion, and disability justice. Findings from a scoping review will identify effective strategies for enhancing steering committee decision-making, improving health equity, and fostering disability justice through inclusive research practices.
