Dr. Kendall L. Moody is an Assistant Professor at Howard University’s School of Social Work, where he integrates research, teaching, and clinical practice to address health disparities in chronic illness populations. A licensed clinical social worker and certified clinical supervisor, Dr. Moody specializes in the well-being of individuals with sickle cell disease, HIV, and chronic kidney disease, with a particular focus on underserved communities.
His research explores the intersections of chronic illness, mental health, and socioeconomic factors, as reflected in his numerous peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
