Acting Director of Field Education; Clinical Faculty

Stephanie Ratliff, PhD, MSW, CSW, is a faculty member at the University of Kentucky College of Social Work where she serves as Acting Director of Social Work Field Education and also serves as the Director of the Graduate Certificate in Child Welfare Practice. Her research interests include the intersections of intimate partner violence (IPV) and substance use and implementation of IPV survivor-informed practices. Her teaching interests include field education, social work practice, and child welfare. She has over 19 years of practice experience serving individuals and families who have experienced poverty, sexual assault, mental illness, and substance use. She has extensive administrative, program development, and program evaluation experience. She is passionate about supporting and mentoring future social workers and advocating for access to services for marginalized populations.
