Associate Dean of Inclusion and Diversity, Associate Professor

Ann Marie Yamada is associate dean of inclusion and diversity and associate professor at the USC Suzanne Dworak-Peck School of Social Work. She teaches primarily in the Virtual Academic Center. In her administrative role, she works closely with university partners to ensure timely academic accommodations are provided to students across programs in the school of social work. She is a member of an advisory committee for the university’s Office of Student Accessibility Services . She is a member of CSWE’s Council on Disabilities and Persons with Disabilities. Her research involves collaboration with public-sector mental health centers to develop or adapt services for Los Angeles’ culturally diverse, underserved, urban communities. She is a member of the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health “Access for All” committee. She enjoys mentoring graduate students and early career scholars and serves as a mentor for a national Disability Mentoring Program.
