Katie McClain-Meeder, LMSW, is a Clinical Associate Professor and MSW Program Director at the School of Social Work, University at Buffalo, State University of New York. McClain-Meeder currently directs the school’s 600+ student MSW program. Her scholarship centers around trauma-informed educational practices, practicum education, and community partnerships. Her work and interests are influenced by her experience as a practitioner working in a variety of settings including with refugees and immigrants, the child welfare system, and veterans.
