This session focuses on the student services professional’s role in connecting the needs of students, faculty, and accommodation services at schools of social work. Utilizing a disability justice framework, panelists will give an overview of best practices, challenges, and foresight for future improvement.

Upon completion, the participant will be able to evaluate their respective program on alignment with disability justice principles.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to identify tangible actions steps to appropriately and effectively respond to the needs of students with disabilities presently and in the future.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to more successfully navigate the tensions of integrating new inclusive practices with the challenges inherently provided by limited resources and personnel.
