Jeanelle Sears has diverse practice experiences including serving an immigrant and refugee community center in Louisville, Kentucky, practicing rural child welfare in Vermont and administering health and safety programs for the Berea College Promise Neighborhood Initiative. As a faculty member, Jeanelle’s research, service and teaching focus on the intersection of place, culture, identity and belonging in organizations and professions. Her current projects include work with a local domestic violence and sexual assault agency, a shelter for unhoused families, and research on supervised visitation practices.
