Interprofessional supervision (IPS), or supervision across disciplines, is becoming more common in practice but little research has been conducted in this area. This qualitative study explored the experiences of supervision for behavioral health clinicians from various professions in practice settings, with implications for social work education, practice and research.

At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:
1. Participants will become familiar with the definition and prevalence of interprofessional supervision in behavioral health settings
2. Participants will explore the unique disciplinary competencies that social workers bring to supervision settings and how these can be better articulated and shared in practice
3. Participants will consider the unique benefits of peer supervision in the behavioral health supervision landscape
