The Partnership for Equity and Excellence in Practicum (PEEP) has emerged as a collaborative initiative, engaging students, field supervisors, faculty, and community agencies in advancing racial equity in practice. The workshop is intended to provide insight into the importance of conducting research on racial equity in field practicum settings.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:
  1. Define racial equity and its relevance to practicum field placements, emphasizing its role in addressing systemic disparities in higher education and community settings.
  2. Evaluate the Use of Education Learning Agreements (ELAs) in Advancing Equity in Practicum Experiences
  3. Explore and generate actionable insights for future research and practice aimed at creating more inclusive and equitable practicum settings in varied settings
