Low-income African-American men with chronic conditions showed significant improvements after participating in Healthy Together, a self-management program. Analysis of pre-post data revealed strong interconnections between physical and emotional health gains. Notably, when fatigue improved, physical discomfort typically also decreased. Similarly, emotional distress reductions were closely linked with physical symptom improvements.
