High Impact Educational Practices Impact on Students' Intersectional Identity for Career Readiness Post-COVID

High-impact practices support student learning and growth and career preparation. This session explores the elements of high-impact educational practices to infuse intersectional students’ identities and needs towards effective professional career development in social work. Educational strategies, techniques, and outcomes at an HBCU will be explored.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:
  1. Upon completion, participants will be able to define intersectionality as it relates to people of color on a college campus.
  2. Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the use of high-impact educational practices to enhance intersectional identity and students career readiness.
