Interprofessional competency development in a graduate-level training program

This poster introduces a new measure based on the Center for Law and Social Policy’s core competencies for youth and young adult centered mental health systems. The new measure evaluates interprofessional competency in graduate-level training programs in nursing and social work; and is compared to an existing validated scale.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:
  1. Upon completion of this poster presentation the audience will be able to illustrate the importance of interprofessional education in graduate-level training programs.
  2. Upon completion of this poster presentation the audience will be able to contrast IPEC and CLASP instruments, to distinguish CLASP as a distinct approach to interprofessional education evaluation.
  3. Upon completion of this poster presentation the audience members will be able to consider the IPEC and CLASP as measures in developing evaluations for their graduate-level interprofessional training programs.
