Is Your Class Trauma-Informed? Transforming Your Teaching with Trauma-Informed Culturally-Sustaining Practices

This workshop introduces trauma-informed, culturally-sustaining pedagogies as a conceptual anchor for social work courses. We provide a roadmap for how to integrate a trauma-informed, culturally-sustaining pedagogical framework in social work classrooms. Participants will be invited to brainstorm how they can use this framework as an anchor to reorient their pedagogy.
