Upon completion, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the prevalence and impact of domestic violence against women in Uganda including its effects on physical, mental, and emotional health.
Upon completion, participants will explore various prevention strategies for domestic violence, such as Community Support against Violence (CoSaV) programs, economic interventions, and school-based educational initiatives, as well as their effectiveness in the Ugandan context.
Upon completion, participants will critically analyze the challenges hindering effective domestic violence prevention in Uganda, including inadequate funding, limited accessibility to services, and entrenched patriarchal norms, and evaluate potential solutions through a feminist-informed lens.
