Nantongo Molly is a PhD student at the Arizona State University School of Social Work. She holds eight years of experience working with children, youth, and families. Previously, she has taken on roles focused on educating, assessing, rehabilitating, resettling, and reconciling youth with their families, utilizing approaches such as cognitive techniques, mapping, and the biopsychosocial model. Molly is also the founder of the Sanyuka Afri-Youth Initiative, an organization aimed at nurturing the entrepreneurial potential of young individuals. Her research interests focus on adolescent girls and young women living with HIV and experiencing intimate partner violence, exploring how exit plans and vocational training can enhance social well-being, leading to empowerment and improved mental health.
