This session presents the Trauma-Informed Reproductive Healthcare (TIRH) Framework, designed to address systemic inequities in carceral healthcare. Integrating trauma-informed care, reproductive justice, and gender-responsive policies, this framework advances equity, autonomy, and rehabilitative health justice, emphasizing policy reform to ensure comprehensive, dignified reproductive healthcare for incarcerated women.

Analyze the impact of trauma and systemic barriers on reproductive healthcare for incarcerated women by examining at least three policy gaps in existing prison health systems.
Evaluate the effectiveness of trauma-informed care principles in addressing gender disparities in carceral reproductive healthcare by assessing their application in current prison policies.
Propose policy recommendations that integrate trauma-informed and gender-responsive approaches to improve reproductive healthcare access and equity for incarcerated women.
