This interactive workshop will share learned strategies in supporting students to effectively access and utilize disability accommodations and strengthening partnerships with university disability offices and agency partners. Three universities will share insights about their varying approaches to working with students in practicum and the lessons they have learned.

At the end of this session, attendees should be able to:

Learn strategies, using a universal design approach, for increasing the likelihood that students will request and receive needed accommodations to support success in practicum education settings.
Gather strategies to partner with University disability offices and agency partners to better support students who need disability accommodations.
Increase their ability to center inclusion practices in practicum education processes.
