The COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated global health inequities. The European healthcare system, mostly run by Universal Health Coverage (UHC), was also challenged by the pandemic, leading to inequities in healthcare experiences. This review aggregated evidence of health inequities within the European population during the pandemic period.

Upon completion, the participants will be able to see an overall picture of health inequities across Europe during COVID-19 pandemic.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to identify socio-economic and geographic factors intensifying existing health inequities during any pandemic time.
Upon completion, the particiapnt will be able to compare shortcomings of different healthcare system, i.e. US and European healthcare, and learn from implications about what might help in reducing avoidable health gap.
