This research explored the impact of anonymous narrative student feedback on the mental health of academic staff across Australia. Findings highlight the significant negative effects of anonymous narrative student feedback on academic staff's mental health and well-being. This study has significant implications for universities in supporting the well-being of academics.

Upon completion, the participants will be able to understand how anonymous student feedback negatively impacts academics' mental health, including stress, anxiety, and depression, and the implications for well-being within higher education.
Upon completion, the participants will be able to identify the role of intersectionality and the groups of academics who may be particularly vulnerable to the negative impacts of student feedback, including but not limited to women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and academics from marginalized racial or ethnic backgrounds.
Upon completion, the participants will be able to explore strategies for fostering supportive institutional environments that prioritize academic staff well-being and mitigate the negative impacts of student feedback.
