Tami Walker, LAPSW, is the Assistant Director of Field Education and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Social Work (UTCSW). She brings more than 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, spanning local, national, and international organizations. Tami is passionate about supporting students and field educators, ensuring that every student has a meaningful and high-quality practicum learning experience.
A longtime member of the UTCSW community, Tami has also served as a field instructor, field liaison, and adjunct instructor. Beyond her professional work, she is committed to civic engagement and enjoys volunteering in local elections. In her free time, she loves traveling, reading, walking her dog, and cooking.
