Daniel Mango, EdD(c), is a scholar, social worker, human rights educator, and activist. Originally from New Jersey, Daniel moved to California in 2020, where he founded the Black Mental Health Program (BMHP) at an international non-profit. The BMHP is designed to address Black people’s mental, social, and economic needs worldwide. The program focuses on uniting and empowering individuals of African descent. Daniel’s work has allowed him to travel worldwide to collaborate with other social justice-oriented individuals and agencies. Daniel’s research interests include Afrocentricity, Pan-Africanism, and pro-Blackness, as well as combating anti-Blackness, racism, racial capitalism, Neoliberalism, and oppression.
