Tarek Zidan is an associate professor at the Indiana University School of Social Work in Indianapolis. His research interests include Muslim/Arab Americans’ attitudes toward disabilities, mental health issues and well-being. He worked for several years serving clients who have severe mental illness and intellectual/ developmental disabilities, as well as immigrants and refugees.
