Amina is an assistant professor and psychotherapist. She has worked with a diverse range of clients in Toronto over the last 13 years as a psychotherapist and community educator. Her work focussed on the intersections of race, faith, mental health access, and culturally responsive care. Amina is also a dedicated researcher, with over 25 publications ranging in scope from clinical social work education, pedagogy, leadership development, professional identity, and mental health care enhancement.
