Whittni L. Holland, LMSW is a fifth-year PhD candidate at Howard University, School of Social Work. Her research examines IPV help-seeking among marginalized women in rural contexts and within the criminal legal system. As a clinical therapist working with rural survivors of domestic and sexual violence, her work foregrounds the utility of employing community engaged approaches to implementing culturally responsive interventions in Black communities.
