Robert G. Hasson III is an assistant professor of social work at Providence College. Rob’s research focuses on mental health risk and protective factors for children who experience forced migration. Rob’s research seeks to inform the development of clinical interventions and policies that serve children and adolescents who experience trauma as a result of forced migration. Rob’s research has been published in a variety of academic journals including Child Welfare, Child and Family Social Work, Children and Youth Services Review, and Journal of Loss and Trauma. In addition to his research and teaching, Rob maintains a small private practice in Brookline, Massachusetts.
