Zohra Asad is a fourth-year PhD candidate and adjunct faculty at Indiana University School of Social Work. She has an MA with honors of a gold medal, a Presidential Award, and an MPhil/MSW. She served as a university lecturer and secondary school teacher in Pakistan. She has collaborated with prominent international non-profit organizations such as Save the Children USA, the American Refugee Committee, Aid Global, and Catholic Relief Services USA. Her research focuses on child abuse, street children, and social entrepreneurship. With her extensive background in the USA and Asia, she has gained invaluable insight into coping strategies and resilience.
