Aynsley H. Scheffert, PhD, MSW, LICSW

Aynsley H. M. Scheffert, PhD, LICSW, is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Iowa. Dr. Scheffert began her social work career in community mental health psychotherapy and has six years of individual and group practice experience. She graduated with her PhD in Social Work from the Diana Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University in 2022. Her research focuses on workforce development and on organizational interventions to improve employee wellbeing and reduce intentions to leave the profession in mental and behavioral health workers.
