STUDENT
ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY
I am a PhD student and Graduate Enrichment Fellow at Arizona State University. My research interest lies in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Disability and Child Welfare. My research focuses on the bridging the gap between policy and practice.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, where my thesis conducted on the experiences of mothers raising children with autism. My passion for social work extends beyond academia, as I have worked as a Teaching Assistant and as a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer at UK-Bangladesh Education Trust (UKBET), where I supported marginalized communities through advocacy, counseling, and educational initiatives.
My research interests include behavioral interventions for children with autism, social work in disability studies, and the impact of stigma on adverse childhood experiences. I have presented at international conferences, including the Society for Social Work and Research (SSWR) as a volunteer and presented my work at the International Conference on Social Work and Sustainable Development.
My goal is to contribute to meaningful policy changes and intervention strategies that enhance the well-being of children with disabilities and their families. Through my work, I aim to advocate for inclusive, research-driven approaches to social work and education.
