Dr. Brittany C. Lytle-Rodriguez, DrPH, MSW is the Director of Field Education, BSW Program and an Assistant Professor of Social Work at California Baptist University in Riverside, CA. She's currently a Field Instructor for a population Health organization, CTRIS. She got her doctorate in Public Health from school of Community and Global Health at Claremont Graduate University (CGU) in 2021. Her dissertation focused on evaluating a training manual she developed for Nurses and MSW (interns) Navigators for a diabetes prevention program using a system engineering approach. She got her Master’s in Social Work from the School of Social Work at Columbia University (CSSW) in the City of New York in 2015, with a concentration in Advanced General Practice and Programming. Also, she has her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside and her Associate of Arts in Liberal Studies from Mount San Antonio College, Walnut, CA. She’s a member of APHA, NASW and CSWE and has received a Public Health Fellowship.
Previously, She was the Navigation Task Force (NTF) Senior Systems Engineer Manager for Stopping Diabetes in its Track (SDIT) program. She worked at multiple agencies as a Social Worker working with survivors of rape, sexual assault, DV and the alike in California and New York City. She was also a credentialed Behavioral Therapist (BCAT, RBT) providing ABA Therapy and administering assessments that look at language development and adaptation for individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related disorders.
