Nancy P. Kropf , PhD, FGSA, is the inaugural recipient of the Kenneth D. Lewis Distinguished Chair in Interdisciplinary Health Studies at Georgia State University. Prior to holding this position, she held a number of administrative roles in social work and within central administration including Dean and Senior Vice President for Strategic Initiatives. She is a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America where she previously served as Treasurer, was President of the Association for Gerontology Education – Social Work (AGE-SW), and is currently a Board member LGBTQ Leaders in Higher Education, and a member of the Council on Leadership Development at CSWE. Nancy is author or editor of 13 books and over 100 peer reviewed articles or chapters on geriatric issues, and leadership development in gerontology and social work.
