Dr. Cressman has two decades of experience working in the Philadelphia region. Her professional background includes child welfare, medical social work, and program design and evaluation. Currently, she holds the position of health equity lead at Aetna Better Health of New Jersey, where she is actively engaged in efforts to mitigate healthcare disparities through data-driven strategic interventions within the plan and in the community. Dr. Cressman is a lecturer at Rutgers University School of Social Work teaching research methods, policy, and macro courses since 2023. She holds a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from Tulane University and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Temple University. Her areas of interest include health equity, policy, macro-social work, and social work ethics. She currently serves on the Council on Social Work Education’s Fellowship Review Committee.
