Kendra Johnson is a Hospital Violence Intervention Program (HVIP) Clinical Social Worker/Therapist at IU Methodist Hospital. As such, she provides PTSD treatment and Intensive Case Management to support victims of gun violence in Indianapolis. Kendra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and earned a Master of Social Work from Washington University Saint Louis. Kendra is trained in treating trauma to support the individual and community healing process. Kendra also spends her time being the co-owner of MK-TI Social Work Consulting and Co-Executive Director for the St. Luke’s Freedom School. Kendra is passionate about being connected in community and creating positive stories for shared spaces. Kendra has experience working in various settings with diverse populations, leading and developing programs, and as an Adjunct Professor for the Indiana University BSW and MSW programs.
