Jennifer Luna, MSSW, is a nationally recognized leader in social work management and professional development. As the Director of Programs for the Network for Social Work Management (NSWM), Jennifer is dedicated to advancing leadership in the field by equipping social workers with the skills and networks necessary to drive systemic change. She plays a key role in strengthening NSWM’s reach by fostering connections between emerging and established leaders, supporting professional growth, and promoting innovative strategies that enhance the impact of social work management.
With over 25 years of experience in career and leadership development, Jennifer is passionate about helping social workers identify their strengths, refine their personal brands, and elevate their influence in the profession. As a certified Gallup CliftonStrengths coach and a John C. Maxwell-certified trainer, she provides expert guidance to social work professionals seeking to lead with confidence and clarity.
Jennifer is also the founder and former director of the DiNitto Center for Career Services at the University of Texas at Austin, where she pioneered one of the first career centers dedicated solely to social work students and professionals. She continues to shape the future of social work leadership through training, speaking engagements, and her contributions to professional publications. She is the co-author of the Social Work Career Guidebook: How to Land Your Ideal Job and Build a Legacy.
