Dr. James P. Canfield is a national award-winning educator and research with over a decade of experience building research and evaluation infrastructure at non-profits. He is an internationally recognized expert on the effects of homelessness and poverty as well with over 40 national and international presentations, a well-received TED Talk, and over 30 peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Canfield has also published a book on working with children experiencing homelessness. He is an active member of the community, coaching little league baseball and soccer, and having served or chaired several non-profit boards.
