Evelyn Bautista-Miller, LMSW, SDA, MPhil, is a bilingual (Spanish) Certified Master Social Worker and School District Administrator with over two decades of experience dedicated to serving New York's most vulnerable and underserved populations. She holds a Master in Philosophy and is currently a PhD Candidate in Social Welfare at the CUNY Graduate Center. Ms. Bautista-Miller is the Founder and President of Tender Steps of New York, Inc. (TSONY, Inc.), a non-profit organization focused on advocacy, education, and rebuilding family values through collaborative support. Her commitment to community is further exemplified by her involvement as a charter member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Tau Gamma Zeta Chapter (Rockland County), and her graduation from Leadership Rockland in 2018. Her outstanding contributions have earned her recognition as a "Woman of Achievement" by the AAUW- American Association of University Women, "2024 NYS Congressional Woman of Distinction" and a "2020 NYS Assembly Woman of Distinction Award." Ms. Bautista-Miller leverages her extensive skills, knowledge, and compassion to empower families and youth, fostering improved skills, attitudes, and future outcomes. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Legal Aid Society of Rockland County. Evelyn is currently a school district social worker.
