Stephanie Valverde is a dedicated mental health professional and researcher with over seven years of experience serving diverse populations. Holding a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential, Stephanie has provided comprehensive mental health services, emphasizing holistic, strengths-based approaches to client care.
Currently pursuing a PhD in Social Work, Stephanie is a second-year doctoral student whose research focuses on BIPOC populations, with a particular interest in barriers to higher education for Latino communities and mental health disparities among minorities. Their research is informed by a deep commitment to culturally competent practices and an understanding of how systemic factors impact access and outcomes for underrepresented populations.
With a passion for both practice and scholarship, Stephanie integrates clinical experience with research, aiming to bridge gaps between academic knowledge and community-based solutions.
