Olivia Bridges is a passionate social work lecturer at Elizabeth City State University, dedicated to preparing future social workers. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Elizabeth City State University in 2016 and her Master of Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in 2017.
With five years of experience in gerontology and medical social work, Olivia has worked extensively with the geriatric population, particularly individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia. She remains committed to serving vulnerable populations and continues her work as a family-centered clinician, supporting children at risk of out-of-home placement.
