Dr. Kelly Richmond-Moore (she/they) is a nonbinary, able-bodied, queer human, and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a Personnel Pupil Services Credential in school social work. Kelly received her doctorate in social work (DSW) from Simmons University, focusing work within LGBTQIA+ communities and social work practicum education. Kelly is the Assistant Program Director for the hybrid track in Master of Social Work program at the University of the Pacific (Sacramento, CA). The primary focus of Kelly’s direct practice has centered the mental health needs of LGBTQIA+ adolescents and school-based therapeutic services. For close to 20 years Kelly has been a social work practitioner with areas of interest including social justice advocacy, increasing social work inclusive practices in practicum education, adolescent mental health, advocating for LGBTQIA+ communities, working with transgender and gender-diverse communities, and building inclusive practices within school-based mental health.
