Christie Moore, LCSW is a faculty member in Oregon State University’s newly established Bachelor of Social Work Program. With over 20 years of experience in direct practice, youth prevention, nonprofit leadership, and field education, she brings a grounded and justice-focused approach to teaching. Prior to joining OSU, Christie served as Assistant Professor of the Practice at the University of Denver, where she worked primarily as field faculty and briefly as Acting Director of Field Education. Her teaching emphasizes strengths-based practice, critical thinking, and equitable access to education, with professional interests in inclusive community engagement. Christie earned her MSW from the Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice at the University of Chicago.
