Dr. Poehling is a joyful researchers, social work educator, and trauma therapist with 20+ years of experience in social services. She is a reproductive justice scholar who has extensive experience providing clinical services, supervision, and training. Her current research focuses on reasons for using and the effectiveness of Somatic Experiencing in therapy.
