Dr. Shi had five years of post-master’s social work experience working with non-profit organizations on community-based participatory programs to serve vulnerable children, the elderly, and people living in poverty. Dr. Shi’s research interests are aging health disparity and caregiver support. She is also interested in stress, resilience, and self-care among social work students and professionals. Dr. Shi has taught social work research methods, macro practice, Human Behaviors, and Social Environment courses.
