Dr. Vinod Srivastava is an Assistant Professor of Social Work at Fort Hays State University. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Kentucky, Lexington, KY. Dr. Srivastava has a diverse background with higher education in Social Work, Philosophy, Gerontology, and Developmental disabilities. He maintains his licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) in Kansas and has more than 15 years of clinical experience and community organizing. His association with many prestigious institutions like CSWE and non-profit agencies providing trauma-informed clinical care to children, adolescents, adults, and families in different states informs his research interests and academic work. Dr. Srivastava's research interests include trauma, resilience, social neuroscience, integrative health, cyber technologies, and quality management. He is affiliated with several journals as a reviewer, has published in multiple peer-reviewed journals, and has presented at national and international conferences.
