Dr. Christine K. Fulmer is a first-generation college graduate with a passion for social work education. She is the founder of both the MSW and BSSW programs at Liberty University. She served in various leadership roles, such as lead chair, chair, program director, faculty senator, assessment coordinator, and director of domestic and international adoption. She served as a CSWE site visitor and currently is a commissioner on the Commission on Educational Policy. Dr. Fulmer is on the editorial board of the Journal of Human Behavior in the Social Environment. She consults with several international nonprofit organizations and often teaches abroad. Dr. Fulmer is currently a co-investigator on a phenomenological study focusing on the experiences of directors of anti-trafficking organizations in the Dominican Republic.
