Dr. Vickie A. Lynn, Chair of the MSW Program and Assistant Professor of Instruction at the University of South Florida, as well as Co-Editor of the Journal of HIV/AIDS & Social Services, is an educator, advocate, and scholar specializing in social work and public health. With over a decade of teaching experience, she prioritizes interdisciplinary collaboration and employs innovative methods, including simulated learning, to enhance student engagement and professional readiness.
Dr. Lynn is actively involved in Interprofessional Education (IPE) at USF Health, bringing together students from various health disciplines to develop teamwork and integrated care skills. Her commitment to simulation-based education bridges classroom learning with real-world applications, preparing students for the complexities of healthcare and social services.
Beyond the classroom, Dr. Lynn’s research and editorial work focus on healthcare access, HIV, stigma, and interdisciplinary education. Through her role as Co-Editor of JHASS, she contributes to critical conversations shaping the future of HIV care and social work practice.
