Garett Brownlee is a licensed social worker and educator with extensive experience in leadership development, cultural competence, and systems change. As Director of the MSW@Denver program, Garett supports over 700 students in online graduate education, leveraging change management strategies to promote equity and inclusion.
With expertise in person-in-environment, trauma-informed, and regenerative frameworks, Garett has coached professionals across nonprofit, education, and social work sectors, focusing on building capacity through collaboration and continuous improvement. An accomplished facilitator and storyteller, Garett is passionate about creating learning environments that inspire systemic change and cultivate belonging.
Holding a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin and certifications in improvement science, Garett combines academic rigor with real-world application. Dedicated to equity-driven leadership, Garett has successfully led initiatives to expand postsecondary access, co-designed equity-focused grant programs, and developed innovative tools for professional development.
