Bridget Bailey, PhD, LICSW is an Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Behavioral Medicine & Psychiatry at West Virginia University. Her research and teaching interests are in student success, behavioral health, community-engaged research, implementation science, and integrated models of service delivery. She joined the faculty at WVU School of Social Work in 2022. She graduated with a Ph.D. from Ohio State University College of Social Work in 2020 and currently holds licensure as an Independent Clinical Social Worker in West Virginia. Dr. Bailey has extensive of clinical experience and specializes in Dialectical Behavior Therapy for youth and and youth adults and implemetation in nontraditional behavioral health settings with low resourced populations (e.g., rural Appalachian schools). The overarching goal of Dr. Bailey’s community-engaged research is to increase access to evidence-based mental health supports in rural low-resourced school-based settings and increase integrated behavioral health workforce in rural settings.
