Christina Ferretti is an Associate Instructor and Assistant Director of the MSW program at University of Central Florida.
Christina earned a BSW at Monmouth University in NJ and an MSW at New York University in NYC. Christina is licensed in the state of Florida with 15 years post MSW practice experience.
Before beginning an academic career at University of Central Florida, Christina practiced social work in various settings in New Jersey and FL.
The majority of Christina's social work adventures included- school social work, youth involved in the juvenile justice system, juvenile's in treatment for sexually reactive/sex offender charges, and intensive in home family crisis intervention (family preservation).
While working in the field, Christina had the joy of serving as an Agency Field Instructor/Supervisor for students earning BSW, MSW, and Mental Health degrees from multiple universities.
Christina teaches various courses throughout the MSW curriculum such as: Field Seminar, Practice with Groups, Practice with Families, & Social Welfare Policy.
In addition to teaching Christina has served as a MSW Field Director for 6 years and currently serves as the Assistant Director for the MSW program at UCF.
