Dr. Renie Rondon-Jackson, Assistant Professor in CSUMB's Department of Social Work and a licensed Clinical Social Worker in NY and CA, has over 25 years of expertise in human services and behavioral health. Her diverse experience includes working with individuals across all age groups, making significant contributions to team-based care as a former MSW Practicum Coordinator, and fostering impactful community-academic partnerships. Committed to global health equity, Dr. Rondon-Jackson travels to Ghana annually as part of an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide free medical screenings to under-resourced villages across the country. Dedicated to social work education, she has spent more than a decade teaching and conducting research in interprofessional education. Notably, she has also taught Orthodox Jewish women in New York and Israel (synchronously) and currently teaches and serves within a predominantly Latina/o/x community. As a pioneering first-generation college graduate, Jamaican immigrant, and woman of color, Dr. Rondon-Jackson brings invaluable perspectives and a steadfast commitment to diversity and inclusion in social work
