Babu Gounder is a PhD candidate in Social Work at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He researches how the physical environment and structural determinants affects community health and well-being. Using data science, spatial analysis, and community-engaged research, Babu identifies opportunities to support community practices, inform the implementation of policies, and improve environmental health outcomes.
